IELTS Test

Our Institute offers its students the chance to take the IELTS exam (International English Language Testing System) and to obtain the certificate.
Why IELTS?
- Many university students are required to have this certificate;
- It has been promoted by the Cambridge Institute and International House Milan;
- Many schools offer this chance;
- Unlike Cambridge Exams, students do not pass or fail the test: IELTS assesses each candidate’s actual skills;
- Many of our students get the C1 certificate.

IELTS is one of the most popular exams in the world aimed at certifying the students’ English level. It has been developed in collaboration with the Cambridge Institute. IELTS offers lots of possibilities to everyone who wants to study or work both in Italy and abroad. Moreover, it is the only certification that is considered valid for immigration purposes. The levels achieved at the end of IELTS are compliant with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and with Cambridge English levels.

C2: CPE – 8,5/9
C1: CAE – 7/8
B2: FCE – 5,5/6,5
B1: PET – 4,5/5

During the three-hour exam all the students’ English skills will be tested: listening, reading, writing and speaking.
Listening: 40 minutes
Reading: 1 hour
Writing: 1 hour
Speaking: 12-15 minutes
